Keep eCommerce Sales Going and Help Others During The Covid-19 Pandemic.

In times of economic, we can either Give Up or Get Up. It’s easy to get up when you understand the simple fact that only you can help your business keep going. If you give up, all will be lost. So, don’t give up and keep going!

For eCommerce businesses, the market may not be as bad as hotel, tourism, and airline industries. The bulk of eCommerce business still comes from online sales. If you have inventory, you can still sell products online. If you do not have much inventory left because your manufacturing chain has been disrupted, there are alternatives. Elite OPS Procurement Services have helped many businesses source for alternatives. Either source raw materials for your own production, or source products for your online sales.

You should still be able to generate sales and get some revenue coming in during the covid-19 pandemic if you take the right steps. Here are a few ideas.

1. Pre-sell products for later delivery

With many consumers working from home, give them some incentive to shop now and collect later or deliver a little later. Make it worth their while with deep discounts. Figure out what minimum revenue you need to ensure that your business can keep going for now. Then use that information to give deep discounts to your customers.

Pre-sell products with deep discounts and clearly communicate scarcity of your product. Let your customers know that there is a limited amount of products available. Customers who buy now will ensure they have enough and don’t run out. That will ensure you have a minimum cash flow coming in to keep things afloat for the time being.

2. Sell gift certificates with deep discounts

Another great way to keep cash flowing is to sell gift certificates that can be used later, say 3 to 6 months from now. Just make it really worth it, like 50% off or better, and your customers will go for it.

Include a cash donation or donate cleaning products for all gift certificates sold to support those impacted by Covid-19. Help foster homes or orphanages by donating hand sanitizers, surgical masks, or oral thermometers. That helps them manage their sick and and sanitize their facilities better. Your customers will benefit with the discounts, the needy will benefit from sanitizing supplies, and you will benefit from the cash inflow. It’s a win-win-win all around.

3. Facebook Live connection meetups

With almost the whole world experiencing some type of lockdown, many people are yearning for some human connection. Give them the next best thing – a Facebook Live connection. Facebook Live is free and you can very easily (with just a smartphone) start a Facebook Live meetup and interact with your customers.

You could showcase current and upcoming products or try to network with your customers to find out what new products are trending right now. People are more likely to open up and communicate via Facebook Live instead of face to face. The possibilities are endless.
